Obituary

Funeral services for Charles Reddogg, 50, of Cannon Ball, ND, are 12PM, Thursday, April 14, 2016, at the Cannon Ball Community Center. All-night wake to begin at 5PM, Wednesday, April 13, 2016, with a prayer service at 6PM, at the center. Burial at St. James Episcopal Cemetery under the direction of the Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD. Charles entered the spirit world April 7, 2016, at the Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, ND.


Chico was born April 25, 1965 to LaVonne Mae Jones & Paul "Bruno" Reddogg, Jr. He attended elementary school in Cannon Ball & Solen. He attended high school in Solen & Flandreau Indian School. Chico loved to laugh and tease around with everyone. He loved cooking, playing cards, listening to music, dancing, playing pool, and spending time with family & friends. When his mom was alive he enjoyed spending time with her beading. They made beautiful jewelry together and taught anyone that was willing to learn.

Chico is survived by Three sisters: Joycelene Reddogg, Kimmie Jo Reddogg, Sheridan (Joe) McNeil, One brother: Paul V. Reddogg III, Two sons: Barry Reddogg of Bismarck, ND, Charles Benjamin Reddogg, Jr. of Idaho, Father Paul (Vivian) Reddogg; Aunties: Special Auntie Eileen Long Chase, Roberta Bell, Rogene (Clayton) Dogskin, Ernestine Red Boy, Arbutus Yellow Hammer, Susie Gagnon, and Angie Fourth, Barbara Grindstone; Uncles: Duane Fool Bear, Archie (Leah) Fool Bear, Bobby (Rhonda) Fool Bear, Mervin Medicine Horse, Hank Long Chase, Adrian (Peggy) Ireland, Guy Ireland, Cedric (Sissy) Good House, Sam (Renee) Two Shields, Richard Ramsey, Chuck (Roberta) Ramsey. Nieces: Jessi, LeAndrea, Misty (Louis), Justice, Abdeza, Alexandria, Courtney, Cassie, Stevie,Winter, & Lexi, Special nieces Jodi & Harley Cotton Wood; Nephews: Valdon, Dax, John, Antoine, Stacey, Josey, Drayton, Zane, Patrick, & Heith. Chico had 21 grandchildren.

Chico was preceded in death by his mother, LaVonne Mae Jones; Sister-Trina Reddogg; Brother-Drew Reddogg; Uncles-Butch, Max & Mason Fool Bear, & Doug Long Chase; Grandma-Agatha Fool Bear & Christine Long Chase, Grandpa & Grandma Paul & Agnes Reddogg; Adopted sisters-Glenda Cotton Wood & Debbie Gullickson, Adopted Mother Gene Siefer
