Funeral services for Charles Ryan Dupris, 47, of Dupree will be at 10 AM, Monday, December 2, 2024, at the All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Cherry Creek under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A procession will meet at the 4-mile junction at 5 PM to process to the church for services at 7 PM. Charles passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the IHS Hospital in Eagle Butte.

Charles Ryan Dupris was born December 30, 1976, to Lavonne Condon and Maynard Dupris at St. Mary's hospital in Pierre SD. Charles attended multiple schools that included Cherry Creek, St. Joseph Indian School, and Eagle Butte. Charles then graduated high school from Dupree in 1995. He had some achievements in high school that he was proud of including being on Nation Honor Society and a record on the track team. Charles attended South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1995, he later got his certificate Collision Repair Technology at Western Dakota Technical College and Automotive Technology at United Tribes Technical College. In 2015 Charles moved to Standing Rock with his sister Kathryn and traveling to work at Dakota Service Center in Timberlake.

Later in 2016 Charles then moved to Utah with his work company to continue working for them. Around late 2022 he moved back to Bismarck still working for the same company. In mid 2023 Charles moved back to Cheyenne River. He was glad when he moved back to be closer to his family and friends. Some things he really enjoyed doing was driving his Cadillac, working on his car, listening to his music, watching Star Wars, being around friends and family. Charles also enjoyed cheering for the Minnesota Vikings and had opportunities to go to their games which he really enjoyed.

Charles is survived by his two children Dionne Dupris and K'Lea Garreaux; Siblings Kristi (Tracy) Lawrence and Michael (Lisa O'Neal) Dupris. Uncles Harold (Geraldine) and Monte Condon, Audie and Joseph Dupris. Aunts: Victoria and Sharon Dupris; Nephews: Beau (Sheri), Colton, Chase, Nevada, Max, Lathan and Nieces: Kayla (Scotty), Alissa (Mark), Chaelan, Rian, Kiana and Lexus

Preceding Charles in death is his mother Lavonne Condon and father Maynard Dupris; sister Kathryn Dupris-Logg; Aunts: Margart Ann Cruz, Bonita, Bernice, and Julie Condon; Uncles: Keeler, Gerold, and Ira Condon, Billie, and Bryan Dupris.
