Funeral services for Charles Little Bear age 18 of McLaughlin will be 1:00 PM CT Saturday December 17, 2016 at the Blue Gym in Mc Laughlin. A prayer service will be 7:00 pm CT followed by an all night wake at the Blue Gym. Charles passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his home in McLaughlin. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.

Charles Lyle Wilson Little Bear was born on July 4, 1998 to Trina and the late Maurice Little Bear in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Charles started his education at the Bear Soldier Headstart and then continued his schooling at the McLaughlin Public School. The highlights of high school included playing on the football team and middle school throughout high school he participated in wrestling.
Charles enjoyed helping his father fix fence at his grandma Edith's along with branding calves, ranch work and working around animals. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved playing with his nieces and nephew. He loved to joke around with others, he loved to make others smile and laugh and enjoyed spending time with his friends and making new friends. Charles loved to collect knives. Charles' favorite NFL team was the L.A. Raiders.

He was survived by his mother Trina Little Bear, his sister's April (Gabriel) Otter Robe, Dana (Thomas) DeLong, Dawn (Dennis) Otter Robe, Wilma, Maria, Angel, and Blayz Little Bear and his brother Thomas (Brianna) Little Bear. His niece's Kai'yah LeClair, Ja'niyah Little Bear, Darian Walking Elk, Kella DeLong and Kassidy Walking Elk and his only nephew Amias DeLong. His auntie's Deloris Yellow Horse, Cheryl White Tail, Jackie (Whit) White-Jones, Donna Situpi Ska (Steven Thompson), Teresa (Mickie) Heckman, Charlene Claymore, (Kevin Fischer), and Florence White and his uncle's Nelson (Elaine) Little Bear, Gillard White, Nigel White, Kenny Maxon and his grandmothers; Edith White and Bessie DeMarrias. His auntie's Irene Little Bear, Maria Palamara-Little Bear, Tracey (Robby) Long, Caroline (Rene) DeLeon and Rita Agard and his uncle Thomas Otter Robe Jr. His grandfather Harold (Delores) Hollow and his grandmother's Joyce Hollow, Sally (Ralph) Taken Alive, Leatrice Hendricks and Margaret (Ambrose) Hosie.

Charles was preceded in death by his father Maurice Little Bear, his paternal great-grandparents John and Agnes Little Bear, William and Florence Taken Alive. His paternal grandparents Elias and Wilma Little Bear, his paternal grandfather Charles White and Stephan Taken Alive, his paternal grandmother Magdallene Long Feather, his uncle's William "Bob" Little Bear, and Linus Long Feather, his auntie's April Little Bear and Ella White Tail, his cousin's Charles " Charlie" White Tail and Alethea Little Star. His maternal grandparents Theresa and Thomas Otter Robe, Lyle Agard, Alexander Little Bear, Gerald Hollow, his uncle's Sonny Hollow, Gary Fox and Juan White Eagle Sr., his auntie Candace Fox and his niece's Amiyah Talley, Camille Left Hand, Sadie Brown, Seraphine White Eagle and his nephew Juan White Eagle Jr. and his friend Dale Becker.
