Cecelia Dorothy Schweitzer was born on September 26, 1933 to John and Maggie Schweitzer in their home at Glencross, South Dakota. She was the first of 10 children; 7 girls and 3 boys. The family moved to North Dakota somewhere between Berlin and Edgeley where Cecelia attended grade school until the second grade, at which time they returned to Glencross. She finished grade school there and went on to graduate from Timber Lake High School.

After high school Cecelia enrolled at Northern State College. She then took a secretarial job at Moreau Grand where she met Roy who was working as a lineman. They were married in 1954. In 1955 came the first of seven children; first five boys-LeRoy, Neil, Mark, Lyle, and Jan, and finally two girls- Colette and Nichole. As a team the family ran the Dakota Theater for many years. They also enjoyed countless camping trips along the river long before camp sites were even heard of.

Cecelia's greatest joy in life came from her husband with whom she shared a bond to be envied by all, and from her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved fishing, bowling, quilting (all 21 grandbabies received a handmade quilt), crocheting, gardening, and watching sports on TV. She worked as a sacristan for the church and attended mass every week until Roy's death, at which time her failing health forced her to go to the nursing home, where she remained until the time of her death. She is now reunited with the love of her life, which brings her family great comfort in knowing.

She is survived by her sisters, Mary Ann (Emil) Biegler, Martha Merkel, Marge (Ed) Volden, Kathleen Wortman, and Phyllis (Eddie) Cook, 2 brothers, Val (Sheila) Schweitzer, and Dwight Schweitzer, seven children LeRoy Linderman, Neil Linderman, Mark Linderman, Lyle (Pat) Linderman, Jan (Deb) Linderman, Colette (Mitch) Enright, and Nikki (Marlin) Larson, 21 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents John and Maggie, a brother, Dean Schweitzer, sister, Hatty Schweitzer, brother-in-law, Wally Wortman, and her husband, Roy.
