Cathy Schlepp Clark, 60, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 22, 2026.

She was born in Mobridge, SD, to Lydia Goodhouse Schlepp and William (Bill) Schlepp, and graduated from Mobridge High School in the class of 1984. As a young mother, she worked at the McLaughlin Public school, Young Life, and later at the McLaughlin Post Office, where her postal career began. She held various positions within the USPS from Postmaster Relief (PMR) in McLaughlin, to City Carrier in Mobridge, to Postal Support Employee (PSE) in Sioux Falls, culminating as the Customer Service Supervisor overseeing clerks at multiple offices in Sioux Falls from 2015, until she passed away. Cathy loved the post office and found great fulfillment in each position.

Cathy had a deep love for Jesus and wanted all to know how much he loves everyone. Outside of work, she was involved in various ministries beginning at Good News Assembly of God in McLaughlin, SD, Family Worship Center in Mobridge, SD, LifeChange Church and Calvary Church in Sioux Falls, SD. She helped with street ministry, bus ministry, kid’s ministries, sang in church choirs, and went on a mission trip to New York City among other things.

She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, always reminding them that they were the best. She made every effort to be present at all family celebrations from birthdays and graduations to military deployment ceremonies, she was always cheering on her children and grandchildren.

Cathy was an incredible gift. She loved hosting, especially for holidays. She loved to laugh and her fun personality broke down barriers. She was a source of inspiration to us all and will be deeply missed.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, William and Lydia Schlepp, her sister Carol Schlepp, and grandchildren: Isabella Catherine Muckey and Samara Alexandra Morse. She is survived by her three sons: Samuel Morse, Daniel Morse and Gilbert Cadotte, her daughter Julieanne (David) Muckey, and her grandchildren: Xavier Morse, Elijah Morse, Krimson Morse, Anthony Morse, Chloe Muckey and Naomi Muckey.
