Funeral services for Casey Hanson, 37, of Mobridge will be at 10 AM, Monday, February 8, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will start at 1 PM Sunday with a prayer service at 2 PM at the funeral home. Casey passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in Mobridge.

Casey James Hanson was born on December 25, 1978 in Mobridge to Bob and Jackie (Travis) Hanson. Growing up Casey attended school in Mobridge. Throughout the years Casey worked in construction, farming and bartending. He loved working with his hands; creating and helping others. Casey was truly happy in the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, hunting, time out on the river or playing a couple rounds of golf. His greatest pleasure was laughing. Whether it was joking and telling stories with his friends or playing with his daughters, Casey's smile was his most memorable feature.

Casey is survived by his daughters, McKayla, McKenzie and Sophia, parents, Bob and Jackie Hanson of Mobridge, siblings, Jessica (children, Jacob and Ariana) of Shakopee, MN, Patrick (wife, Kristin, children, Hunter and Madelynn) of Moville, IA, and Brian of Mobridge, grandparents, Avis Hanson of Mobridge and Linda Travis of Watertown, WI, aunts and uncles, Barbara Keller, Tom (Doreen) Travis, Janet (Aub) Kirkland, Steve (Gwen) Travis, Lisa (Derick) Russell, Peggy (Jay) Ritter, Bette Hanson and also many cousins.

He is preceded in death by, grandparents, John Hanson, Robert and Blanche Travis, and uncles, Bill Hanson, Bobby Travis and Joe Keller Sr., cousins, Joe Keller Jr. and Stephanie Kirkland.
