Caitlin Rose Peters was born on January 30, 2004 in Mobridge, SD to Tracy and Lindy (Schlepp) Peters. She was currently attending Mobridge-Pollock Middle School and was beginning her 7th grade year, she was a very loving, caring and spiritual person. She had a heart of gold and a smile that could brighten up anyone's day. Caitlin had some kind of aura about her that drew people to her! She loved to make everyone around her laugh. (Example; She walked around with a British accent and named herself Charlie (Chawee) just to make us laugh.) She loved to joke around, listen to her dub-stepping music, Caitlin loved it so much that she taught herself how to dub step, she made videos that she put up on YouTube. Caitlin was very talented, she loved writing poetry and drawing. She was very outgoing and enjoyed the outdoors such as; swimming, tubing, camping, fishing, bike riding and roller blading.

When Caitlin was at home she loved to play her Xbox (mine craft being her favorite). She loved scary movies and the haunted house just to laugh through them. Caitlin enjoyed her Native American culture and learned a little bit of the language. She also enjoyed learning about different cultures, but her Native American culture was her favorite. Caitlin was currently supporting the No Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) Protest. She enjoyed her time up there so much she wanted to camp and go to school there. Caitlin was taught the importance of family and loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She loved her siblings and looked up to each and everyone of them. Caitlin used to love going on the road with her dad hauling cattle. Her favorite part was using the "hot shot". Her mother was her best friend, they shared so many memories together, they loved going to the movies, going on walks and just hanging out and talking. Apart from her mom, dad, brothers and sisters. She had 3 important people that she looked up to; her god parents auntie Audrey & Uncle Dave, along with her auntie Nina. Caitlin's favorite foods included; Walking Tacos, Ramen Noodles, Chinese food, all fruits, vegetables and basically home cooked meals as she wasn't a big fan of junk food. We are going to miss her personality and her positive fun loving attitude.
