Funeral service for Boyd White Twin, 40, of McLaughlin, will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Blue Gym in McLaughlin. Burial will be in the St. John's Episcopal Cemetery in Bullhead under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. An all-night wake service will begin Sunday, March 2, 2025, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Blue Gym in McLaughlin. Boyd passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at St. Alexius Hospital in Bismarck.

Boyd William White Twin Sr (Chek pa Ska), 40 was born August 2nd,1984 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Lolita (Running Hawk) White Twin and Joseph White Twin Jr. Boyd has lived majority of his life in McLaughlin, SD. He also lived in Minneapolis, MN for several years before returning to Standing Rock in his younger years. He was raised by both his mother Lolita and grandmother Elizabeth Bruguier. He has 3 siblings from this union marriage (Julian, Rory and Samantha). He was the eldest of all his siblings.

He attended Standing Rock High School until 10th grade. All through his life he loved to play basketball. He was the type to joke around with everyone. He also joined the local boxing club when he was 12 years old. He worked the summer youth program for several summers. He did receive his GED in 2011 while in California. His life revolved being around his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Boyd survived by his Grandmother Elizabeth Bruguier who he lived with at the time of his passing. Siblings are Julian, Rory, Samantha, Summer, Dominic, Jonessa and 2 younger sisters. His children Tristian, Killion, Boyd Jr., Brittany, Unique, Brylee, Joseph. Shana Left Hand and his two youngest children Xeige, and Kyler. Grandmother Pearl Hagans, Great grandmother Anna Mae Steele. Maternal uncles Gerald (Mona) and David (Steff) Running Hawk. Maternal Aunt Kristin (Josh) Steele. Cousins: Amy (Aysin) Leaf, Melody Scott, Kalyn, Karlye, Kalista and Shay Running Hawk, Jayson (Tia) Running Hawk and Kayson Chipman. He had many numerous neices and nephews from his siblings.

Proceeded in death by Mother Lolita White Twin, Father Joseph Robert White Twin Jr, Grandfathers Roger "Jimmy" Steele and Gerald Running Hawk Sr, Grandmother Salina High Elk. Uncle/Aunt: Micheal Hagans, Jonathon and Brittney High Elk. Cousins Yamni, Patrick and Ty Running Hawk and Destiny Leaf. Nieces/Nephews: Kerian Zephier, Sadie White Twin, Dorian White Twin and Khalid Chase.
