Funeral Services for Bonnie Scott, age 95, of Mobridge will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at United Congregational Church, Mobridge. There will be visitation on Friday starting at 4:00 PM with a prayer service starting at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Mrs. Scott passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Eileen "Bonnie" Lavon Scott was born January 31, 1917 to William and Lily (Carlson) Zimmer in Mobridge, SD. She attended grade school and graduated from Mobridge High School. On December 22, 1941 Bonnie married the love of her life, Dean R. Scott in Mile City, MT. Their marriage was kept a secret for several years, as the telephone company in which Bonnie worked for would not allow married woman to work. She was employed with the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 30 plus years.

Bonnie has been a lifetime member of the United Congregational Church in Mobridge. She has also been apart of the Mobridge Swimming Pool Fund. Bonnie was a generous, loving, and kind with a great sense of humor.

Bonnie is survived by her siblings Eugene Zimmer of Alexandria, VA, Phyllis Harris of Mobridge, SD, Kaye Vander Ven of Alexandria, VA, and Rosalie (Jerry) Travis of San City, West AZ, she is also survived by her adoring nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dean, daughter DeeAnn, siblings William Zimmer, Doris Pooley, Lyle Zimmer, and James Zimmer.
