Funeral services for Bonita Condon age 57 of Dupree will be 10:00 AM, MT, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Multi Purpose Building in Dupree. There will be a wake service on Monday at 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Multi Purpose Building. Burial will be at St. Andrews Episcopal Cemetery in Cherry Creek under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Bonita passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at IHS Hospital at Eagle Butte, SD.

Bonita was born on September 22, 1957 to the proud parents of Clarence "Bud" and Esther (Between Lodge) Condon. Her birthplace was on their ranch five miles north of Cherry Creek, SD. Her brothers Gerald and Harold helped deliver her and her twin sister.
Bonita attended Cherry Creek day school from Kindergarden until the sixth grade. She then attended St. Joseph's Indian School until she graduated from the eighth grade in May of 1971. She didn't finish high school but later received her G.E.D. at Job Corp in Oklahoma.

Bonita's home was always open to her nieces and nephews, family and relatives. She always had a meal ready for whoever came to visit her. Bonita was always there for her many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was the one everyone went to with their problems she was always willing to give advice and lend a helping hand to whoever needed it. She kept family members and friends when they needed a place to go. She always seemed to know when someone was in need she would show up or call you when you needed her support.

Bonita was a survivor of breast cancer. She didn't show any symptoms of ill health. So, it was a shock to everyone when she passed so suddenly.

Bonita is survived by her partner Morris little Shield, children Marquette and Meatrice Condon, Jordon Cass and Markus Little Shield, twelve grandchildren. Brothers Harold (Geraldine) Condon, Monte Condon and Everette Condon. Sisters Mary Buck Elk Thunder, Verzella LaPlante, Rilla Noisy Hawk and Clarice Condon. Aunt Ellen In The Woods, Uncle Dan Afraid Of Hawk, Stepchildren Shannon, Heather, Rudy and Reneta Little Shield along with twelve step grandchildren.

Bonita was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Bud Condon, Esther Between Lodge Condon Buck Elk Thunder, brothers Ira, Gerald and Keeler Condon, Kirby Buck Elk Thunder, sisters Bernice, Lavonne and Julie Condon, nephews Kerwin Condon, Jake and James Hale, nieces Malisa Hale and Sharon Condon, one granddaughter Keya Rooks.
