Beverly Jo Ironroad, 63 (forever 29), Cante ta canl waste win, "Very Kind Hearted Woman", of Cannon Ball, ND, died peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday morning, September 3rd, 2025.

Beverly was born January 5th, 1962 in San Francisco, CA to Albert and Serena (Eagle Boy) Ironroad.  She was raised in San Francisco until the age of 11 when the family moved back to their home community of Cannon Ball, ND on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. She attended Cannon Ball Elementary and Solen High School.

Beverly had a strong work ethic and believed that to get through life you had to work hard. She enjoyed going to work and her co-workers became her family. She was a trusted confidante as she always took time to listen to others and offer her trademark words, "everything will be okay".  She was employed at Cannon Ball Headstart for a number of years. She then moved onto Prairie Knights Casino when it opened in 1993 where she worked for 24 years starting as a cashier and due to her hard work ethic received multiple promotions and ended her time at the casino as a shift manager.  She enjoyed her time at the casino but due to suffering a heart attack she had to resign. When she was finally feeling strong she didn't want to just sit at home and she started working at the Cannon Ball nutrition center until she was no longer able to.

Beverly enjoyed life to the fullest. She was an avid softball player and played on the Standing Rock Lady  Spoilers for many years where she excelled at playing third base. Her softball teammates became her family. However, Beverly's pride and joy was being with her family, especially her kids and grandkids. She was all of their biggest fans and supporters. She made it to every basketball game of her sons to as many cross country meets of her grandson she could get to.  She enjoyed sharing many experiences with her kids & grandkids, from circus outings, girl days at the nail salon, state fair and expo visits, pumpkin patch outings, park days, black Friday shopping and her favorite, gathering everyone at her house to help put up her Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music.

Beverly is survived by her loving family, including her companion Don Archambault of 15 years. Her four children: Coley, Ryan, Bill Jr. and Justin. Her many grandkids: Taden, Kyleigh, Kashton, Serenaly, Brayleigh. Kaisyn, Alleigh, Kingston, Raymond, Nathaleigh, Kayliegh, Kaden, Kinleigh, Laila, Keauna, Tyra, Andrew, Reagan, Mikey, Kiera, JJ, Kade, Skye, Asher & Skyla. Great grandkids, Oakley Anne, Camilla Sue, Nyal and Stoney. Her two sisters: Beth (Chip) White and Laurel Ironroad. Her cousins: Donna, Merline, Suzie, Jolene, Loralee, Annette, Claudia, John and Steve. Many, many nieces and nephews that she took as her own, including her special niece Kimmie. And her forever best friend Gail Uses Arrow.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Serena, her seven brothers, Bob, Bill, Albert Jr., Perry, Timothy Sr., Gary, & Michael; her son, Kyle Ironroad, uncle Joe and auntie Barb, four nieces, three nephews, two granddaughters and her two fur babies Odie and Nupi.
