Obituary
Graveside services for Beryl A. McGrath age 90, of Gettysburg, SD and formerly of Roseville, MN. will be Friday, August 19, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mrs. McGrath passed away on August 6, 2011 at the Oahe Manor in Gettysburg, SD. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
Beryl A. McGarth was born on March 14, 1921 to William and Mazie Caroline (Knight) Cary in North Field, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota and graduated in 1943 with a degree in Social Work.
On September 8, 1946 Beryl married Robert Thomas McGrath. Beryl worked at the YWCA in St. Paul, Minnesota and also did temporary secretary work. She lived most of her adult life in the Twin City Area. She came to Gettysburg in November 2005 to live with her daughter Carolynn. At the time of her death she was a resident at Oahe Manor in Gettysburg.
Beryl is survived by her daughter Carolynn (Joseph) Weinert, of Gettysburg, SD, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert T., daughter, Sharron Sigurdson, and granddaughter, April Weinert.
