Bain Morgan Weisbeck was born December 16, 1986, the only child to Ira Weisbeck and first child to Carla Becker (Vander Laan) in Aberdeen, SD.
Bain spent his early years in Wahpeton, ND. Spending his teenage years in Laramie, WY, where he graduated from Laramie High School in 2006. He attended IBMC Institute of Business and Medical Careers in Cheyenne, WY, to pursue his dream of massage therapy. He began working at Cartouche Day Spa as a massage therapist until Jan. 2016 before moving to Herreid, SD, where he unexpectantly found his love for cooking. He became an accomplished and passionate chef at Oahe Sunset in Pollock, SD, with customer satisfaction being his ultimate goal. Coworkers and customers remember him by his friendly demeanor and his continuous efforts to raise the quality of his signature dishes. Bain was recognized as "Cook of the Week" by the Mobridge Tribune.
We remember Bain as having most enjoyed the outdoor recreational activities of the Snowy Range. Family snowmobiling and four-wheeling excursions brought his love of family and the outdoors together. Bain had great respect for the outdoors, having been an avid fisherman and hunter. He was an animal lover, often putting the well-being of animals before himself.
He occupied his time by reading, playing magic cards, canasta and video games, and surrounding himself with those he cared for. His friends remember him as a great chess player and a loyal friend. Bain was always there for his friends, often on a moment's notice, and showing a willingness to give what he could to improve the lives of those around him.
He always showed his love for family with a huge hug and an "I love you."
We send Bain off into the grace and warmth of God with our love.
