Obituary
Funeral services for Azmund Rousseau, 8 month old son of Jesse Fulls and Anna Rousseau of Eagle Butte, will be 10:00 AM, Friday, December 14, 2012, HV Cultural Center, Eagle Butte. All night wake Thursday, HV Cultural Center starting at 7:00 MT, family will meet at the 4 mile junction, 4:00 PM. Burial at St. Theresa's Catholic Cemetery, Whitehorse under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Azmund passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012, IHS Hospital, Eagle Butte.
Azmund Maynard Rousseau was born on March 22, 2012 to Anna Rousseau and Jesse Fulls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. At the time of his birth he was diagnosed with a rare birth defect called holoprosencephaly which caused him some health problems and lowered his chances of survival. Azmund was strong he fought hard and faced many struggles. He had a strong heart and a strong will to live. Azmund was eight months old when God came to take our little angel home.
Azmund may have lived a short life but he was loved by all who shared his life with him. He will be missed dearly by his parents Anna Rousseau and Jesse Fulls, brother Axon, sisters; Adriana and Alycia, Grandfather William Rousseau, Grandmothers; Karen Rivers and Jackie Holy Bear, Great Grandmother; Lillian Brown, Uncles; Austin Fulls, Billy (Cassie) Rousseau, Eugene Rousseau, Aunts; Stevie Fulls, Judy (Dion) Hall, Rhonda (Jeff) Rousseau, Wanda (Harlan) Gunville, Ramona (Brian) Schell, Cousins; Torian, Michelle, Jake & Clarence Fulls, Sophie & Sadie Rousseau, Brody, Brady & Bailee Hall, Molly Rousseau, Emberly Rousseau, Braden & Teigan Gray, Avery IronWing, Lawrence& Peter Rousseau, Ranger, Chloe, River Gunville, Jessica (Mark) Lindskov, Benji Lindskov, Amanda & Sydney Schell, Summer & Lynsi Long, Thomas Thunder, Andrae Two Crow, Desiree Howard, Demi, Density, Remi Beautiful Bald Eagle.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Lawrence and Virginia Rousseau, Great Grandpa Robert Fulls, Great Grandma Helen Leith, Grandma Denise Rivers, Great Uncle Bill Fulls, Great Aunt Tally Ann Fulls, Uncle Allan Two Crow, Pamela Rivers. Grandpa's Francis Rousseau, Sr. Peter Rousseau, Grandma Rosemary Rousseau, cousins; Tanner Gray and Tyler Iron Wing.
