Memorial services for Audrey J. Baker will be Friday, Oct. 22, at 10:00 a.m. at Kesling Funeral Home. Prayer service will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Mobridge. Kesling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Audrey Baker passed from this life on October 15, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.

Audrey was born on April 19, 1932 to Floyd and Edith (Stahl) Story in Saskatchewan, Canada. At the age of two her family moved to the Mobridge area, where she grew up on a farm. On Sept. 10, 1953 she was married to James Hartinger to this union were born, 10 children, John, Ray, Joe, Rich, Ronald, Rose, Anita, Pat, Tracey, and Mike.
Audrey and James were divorced. Audrey was married to Robert Baker in 1982.

Audrey worked for the Mobridge Care Center for a number of years. Audrey enjoyed fishing, reading, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, growing house plants and socializing with friends.

She is survived by 8 children, Mike Hartinger, Fargo, ND, John Hartinger, and Raymond Hartinger both of Grand Junction, CO, Rick Hartinger, Newcastle, WY, Pat Hartinger, Aberdeen, Tracey Hutchins of Leola, SD, Anita Hatch, Cheyenne, WY, Rose Knowles, Parson, KS, 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 5 brothers, Gene Story, Walt Story, Gordon Story, Robert Story, Vernon Story.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Edith, husband Robert, and 2 sons, Ronald at birth and Joe in 1988.
