Memorial services for Annie Olson, 92, of Mobridge will be at 10 AM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mobridge. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Annie passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Annie Olson was born on September 2, 1928 to Maggie and Michael Lipp. She was the oldest of 13 children. She was raised on a farm in the Wakpala area. She graduated from Wakpala High School and attended one year of nursing classes in Rochester, MN.

Annie married Harold "Ole" on December 28, 1948 in McLaughlin. There were 7 children born to this loving relationship. She worked as an aide at the McLaughlin Hospital until it closed. She then went to work at the Coast to Coast in 1978 until her retirement. They moved to Mobridge in 2002

She loved playing Hand and Foot every Tuesday with her friends. She also enjoyed Whist at the Senior Center and was in tournaments at the Moose. When she was not playing cards, she loved to make baked goods and homemade pickles. She shared her recipe for pickles; however, no one has been able to replicate them yet. She enjoyed visits from the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren

Annie is survived by Lowell's wife Barbara of Hartford, SD and children Angie, Jim, Neal, Russell, Cody, Lavone Merkel of Aberdeen, SD and son Jason, Terry and wife Lynn of Leesburg, FL and children Matthew, Tandy and Meghan, Dwight and wife Lisa of Belvidere, IL and children Christopher, Kathryn, and David, Jill Derr and husband Dean of Greeley, CO and children Dustin, Jeremy, and Grant, Tom and wife Connie of Leesburg, FL, Jon and wife Jill of Mobridge, SD and children Isaac, Gretchen, Heidi, and Luke. There are also 22 great grandchildren.

Siblings are Louie, Albert, Bob, John, Betty, Susie, Sandy, Donnie, and Larry

She was preceded in death by her husband Ole, son Lowell, brother Daniel "Bud", and sisters Geraldine and Alice
