Anna was born March 2, 1915 in Artas, SD to Jacob and Christian (Schlecht) Ehrmmann.
Anna married Edward C. Goetz on Aug. 2,1937. Edward and Anna lived on a farm, where Anna enjoyed helping with all the farm chores, and having a big garden. They lived on the farm until moving to Mobridge in 1985.
She was a very strong willed lady. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and had a pear tree in her yard and enjoyed canning the pears from the tree. Anna was a great cook, baker and noodle maker. She would still bake her dinner rolls for all family gatherings and was still scrubbing her floors on her hands and knees until last week. Anna learned how to drive after she moved to Mobridge and was still driving at the age of 93.
She was a member of the Lowry Pilgrim Community Church, the Ladies Circle and First Baptist Church of Mobridge. Anna's faith was strong and her friend Preston Droog would pick her up to go to church and would tell Anna how well he liked her honey cookies.
