Annie was born to Robert & Lonna (Dunn) Gipp on April 8th, 1965, in Rushville, Nebraska. She was the youngest of four children.
Annie's first years growing up were in Pine Ridge, SD. She attended her elementary and high school years in Fort Yates, ND. Annie lived in many places throughout her life from Fort Yates, Wahpeton, Eagle Butte, McLaughlin, Wakpala, Cannonball, Mobridge, Denver and Bismarck where she made many friends along the way. She was employed at various locations like the Mini mart, tree trimming and Diamond A in Eagle Butte, doll factory in Mobridge, Roads department road flagged during the summers, construction at the Gull Inn, and self-employed at times.
Annie had a big heart and always welcomed everyone into her home. She enjoyed working on puzzles, lazy stitch beading, camping and fishing, watching movies and eating dry popcorn. She liked hot sauce on everything and burnt toast with no butter. Annie enjoyed playing dice, Whist and having a good time with friends and family. She was the happiest being outside and sitting at the river.
Annie is survived by her mother Lonna Gipp, sister Sandra L. Gipp, brothers Zane Gipp, Delane Gipp and Joe Dunn, Daughters Chenoa Gipp, Nicole A. Gipp, Brittany Gipp and son Deeken Means, uncle; Jerry Gipp as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-children and many friends.
She is preceded in death by grandparents George Sr & Margaret (Partain) Dunn, Albert "Bud" & Elaine Gipp, Margaret Halsey, Father Robert F. Gipp, Uncles Albert "Buddy" and Frankie Gipp, George Jr, Raymond, and David Dunn, Miles & David Gipp, Tommy Buffalo Boy & Clint "Zonk" Harrison Jr. Aunt Tracey Buffalo Boy, nephew Clancy Gipp, her lifetime friend Tammy Moore and long-time companion Martin White Shield.
Annie was a dog lover and had many pets through the years. Some of her beloved pets; Sonny, Wahampi, Bandit, Killer, Terminator, Nacho, Timone, Timon, Timere, Freckles, Soup, Spike Lee, BoCage, Sarge, Special Eddie, Tune and many more.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place with no services and a private burial. Annie had many family and friends who she considered family, too many to list. She will be greatly missed by all of them. She wanted to be remembered the way she was and the good times she spent with everyone.
