Funeral services for Amelia Morrison, 79, of Dupree will be 10 AM, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Multi-Purpose Building in Dupree. Burial will be at the Morrison Family Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. All night wake services will start at 6 PM Monday at the building. Family and friends can gather at the two-mile junction at 4 PM to procession in. Amelia passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Amelia Rose (CreeK) Morrison was born on April 12, 1939, in Cherry Creek to Luke and Maggie (One Skunk) Creek. She married James Morrison Jr. of Long Valley.

Amelia is survived by eleven children, daughters, Barbara, Beverly, Lee, Ruby, Opal, Kathy, Jamie and Leslie (Pete Veit), Sons, Audie, Gene and Casey, 216 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Creek Family & Children, Tisa, Cletus, Delia, Della and Clayton Creek, Delores One Skunk Curley and grandson, Clifton Brown Thunder and Family, cousins, Sam One Skunk Jr., Alberta Danley, and Linda Allen, grandson, Jasper Iron Cloud, special friends, Virginia White Feather and Rose Romero. If we forgot anyone please forgive us since there are so many family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, sons, Joel, Michael and Marion, grandchildren, Ariana, Chelsey and LeAnn and Joss Defender, two brothers, two sisters, and friend, Maxine Takes The Gun.
