Funeral Services for Aloysius "Brother" Yuker, 82, of Glencross, will be at 10 AM, CT, Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at the Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Glencross. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Brother passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020, at the Angelhaus Nursing Home in Aberdeen. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements. Services will be live streamed on the Kesling Funeral Home Facebook page.

Aloysius "Brother" Yuker was born on March 24, 1938, to Lloyd and Agatha (Leibel) Yuker at Mobridge, SD. He attended grade school in Glencross, SD, and graduated from Timber Lake High School in 1956.

After the sudden death of his father in 1960, Brother took over taking care of his mother and the family farm. Brother loved farming and ranching. He especially loved his alfalfa crop and combining wheat.

In his early years Brother enjoyed rodeoing with his specialty being calf roping. He made many friends along the way but one of his closest friends was Ed Bader. They learned many important lessons from the older guys on the circuit.

On January 24, 1974, Brother married his wife, Bonnie (McMacken) and they had two children, William and Lance.

Brother is survived by his wife of 45 years Bonnie of Glencross, two sons, William Lloyd "Billy" (Tonia) of Glencross, and Lance Aaron (Tarah) of Aberdeen, grandson, Casen, stepdaughters, Callie and Catelynn, stepsons, Tim (Kim) Gilmour and their children, Ethan, Owen, Payton, and Haiden of Watertown, SD, Mark Gilmour and his son, Mason of Rapid City, SD, and Jeff Gilmour of Plainfield, IL, two sisters, Darlene (Tom) Manz of Vancouver, WA, and Louise Voight of Mina, SD, and many nieces and nephews.

Brother is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Agatha Yuker, his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.
