Funeral services for Alethea (Little Bear) Little Star, 24, of McLaughlin will be at 2 PM, Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015 at the McLaughlin Blue Gym. An all night wake will start at 5 PM Friday at the gym. Alethea passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015 near Little Eagle. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.

Alethea Jenice (Little Bear) Little Star was born May 2, 1991 in Fort Yates, North Dakota the oldest of 7 to Nelson and Elaine Little Bear. She grew up in White Horse with all her family and friends before moving to Mclaughlin in January 12, 2012. She graduated from Tiospsye Topa School in 2009 with a dream of becoming a veterinarian. She attended United Tribes Technical College and the National American University in Rapid City, South Dakota. July 13, 2013 she married her best friend Joesph Little Star. Alethea was great at playing hackey, she had a huge passion for music and riding dirt bike. She was always cooking and taking care of her family. Most of all she loved taking care of her two precious little boys 3 year old Athen Chaos and baby Ryatt Nelson. She enjoyed working construction along with her father Nelson, uncle Junior and sister Danielle at Jensens Rock and Sand and working as a cashier at Prairie Knights Casino with her mother Elaine, sister Shelby best friend Adryn Two Hearts.

She survived by husband Joesph Little Star, two sons Athen Chaos Benjamin and Ryatt Nelson, parents Elaine and Nelson Little Bear, 4 sisters Danielle, Shelby, Peyton and Camryn, 2 brothers Phillip and Chance, Her dear cat Mittens, closest cousins Jason Iron Wing and Jeremy Rousseau, Grandma Faye Rousseau, her favorite aunt Debbie Rousseau.

Shes was preceded in death by her Grandpa: Francis George Rousseau Sr. Grandpa Elias Little Bear and Grandma Wilma Taken Alive, Uncle William Bobby Little Bear, Uncle Warren Swan, Aunt April Little Bear, Great Grandparents William and Florence Taken Alive, Archie Blue Coat and Elaine (Miner) Blue Coat, Lawrence Rousseau and Virginia (Traversie) Rousseau, John Little Bear and Agnes Fire Cloud, her special cousin Donnie (Chaos) Swan Jr. and best friend Sam Frazier.
