Funeral services for Agatha Lutz age 86 of Mobridge will be 10:30 AM Monday, June 8, 2015 at First Baptist Church. Burial will be at 1:00 PM at the Artas Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Visitation will be Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 3PM with a prayer service at 7PM at Kesling Funeral Chapel. Agatha passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Agatha was born on January 1, 1929, at Hague, ND to Frank and Beatrice (Klein) Volk. She graduated from the Hague Farm School. She was raised on the family farm 1/2 miles from Hague, ND.

Agatha Married Edward Lutz on August 20, 1950 at the Baptist Church in Herreid, SD. Edward and Agatha lived 13 miles northeast of Herreid, SD on the farm.
When Edward died on May 29, 1976 she moved to Mobridge, SD., where she worked as a custodian at the MDU office. She also cleaned house for a living.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mobridge.

Agatha is survived by her two daughters LaVonne Gemar of Mobridge, SD Karen (Alan) McClain of Gettysburg, SD, two brothers Tom (Hellen) Volk of Hague, ND, Peter Volk of Blair, NE, one sister Margaret Gross of Sturgis, SD., five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren.

Agatha has joined her family, mother and father, her husband Edward, son-in-law Duane Gemar, step-grandson Eddie four brothers and four sisters.
