Adeline passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the Golden Living Care Center of Mobridge.

Adeline Moser-Brockel was born on February 19, 1927, in the McIntosh, SD, area. She attended a country school until 8th grade, then attended high school at McIntosh and graduated from there in 1945.

On June 16, 1946, she married Argo Brockel and they made their home on a farm nine miles Northeast of McLaughlin milking cows, raising crops and running range cattle and race horses.

In 2003 her husband Argo passed away and she sold the farm and moved into a house in Mobridge. In Feb of 2007 she entered the Golden Living Center and resided there until the time of her passing.

While they lived near McLaughlin she was a very active member of the Baptist Church. She served as the church clerk for many years, played the organ, was active in the ladies aid, and taught Sunday school. She loved the Lord and served him with all her heart. One of her favorite hobbies was writing poetry.

Adeline and Argo also took in and cared for Adeline's sister's, Betty, two little children, Ricky and Bobbie Pareno, when they were very small for about three years, while Betty was in a sanatorium recovering from tuberculosis.

Adeline suffered from Parkinson's Disease, and put up a very courageous battle, and was always very cheerful and thankful for the good care she received at the Golden Living Center.

She is survived by her sisters, Freida Mertz of Mobridge, and Betty Pareno of Chico, California; her brothers, Clarence Moser of Mobridge, and Marvin Moser of Gillette, Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Elizabeth (Heinrich) Moser; her brother, Edwin Moser; her sister, Tillie Dietterle; and a baby sister, Regina Moser.
