Obituary

Funeral services for Adele Charger, 66 Murray, UT, and of Eagle Butte, Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte. Family and friends are asked to meet at 4mile junction at 4PM on Monday. All night wake will begin at 5PM Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at the church. Burial will be under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Adele passed away January 5, 2016 at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT.
Adele Joyce Charger was born November 23, 1949 at the Old Agency to Rufus and Fidelia (Garfield) Charger.
Adele grew up in Eagle Butte and went to school, from there she served in the Job Corps in Denver, CO. She met Wilbert Livingston and they got married and then moved to Gallup, New Mexico. They had three children together, Michael Ray Charger, Naomi Lynn Livingston, Christopher mark Livingston.
Adele and her family lived in Gallup 44 plus years, Adele loved God and always read her Bible and had a strong faith in God. Throughout her life Adele worked as a telephone operator and enjoyed her job talking to people. Adele had other jobs in her life. She was also a CNA for different Nursing Home. Most of her working life she was a telephone operator. She also enjoyed waitressing from time to time, and cleaning houses for people.
She enjoyed helping people and giving to others and always thought about others first before herself. She enjoyed making quilts and crocheting, and made all her kids and grandkids blankets, which she was very proud of.
Adele and her husband Wil were foster parents and took in many children during that time. Adele and her family would travel to South Dakota to see family and friends every year and that was their family vacation.
She enjoyed being a representative for Avon, House of Lloyds, Tupperware among other various interests. She enjoyed playing cards and occasionally going to the Casino which she led as a past time.
She enjoyed baking for her family and spending time with them, she was a big fan of Coca Cola and Elvis and Chevy Nova's. Adele had a lot of friends in Gallup, NM. She had a big heart and helped raise her grandchildren. Adele was a Great Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandma, and Friend to all. She will be greatly missed.
Adele is survived by her children, Michael, Naomi, Christopher, Sr. her grandchildren, Douglas Lee, Alex Miller, Journey Charger, Shadow Charger, Dakota Charger, Jordan Livingston, Brandon Livingston, Brianna Livingston, Christopher Jr. Livingston, Sean Livingston, Dakota Livingston, Nyjah Livingston, her great-grandson Kaden Lee, her brothers Melvin, Norman, Leon, sister, Marlene, all her special relatives that meant so much to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fidelia (Garfield) Charger and Rufus Charger Sr., brothers, Harry Charger, Rufus Charger Jr., Gary Stranger, Ronald Charger, sisters, Alvina Mae Charger, Charlene Charger.
