Funeral services for Abel James Silbernagel, of Mobridge will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2016 with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Abel passed away on Sunday November 20, 2016 at Mobridge Regional Hospital.

Abel is survived by his parents, Shantel Iron Thunder and Adam Silbernagel of Mobridge. Grandparents, Neil and Stephanie Stoller, Jesi Shanley (Jesse LeBeaux) all of Mobridge, Chris Silbernagel (Courtney) of Mandan, ND and Ben Iron Thunder of McLaughlin. Great Grandfather Wayne Sauer of Mobridge, Great Grandmother Sydney Claymore of Kenel, SD, Great Grandfather Jim Shanley (Nancy) of Wolf Point, MT and Great Grandmother Sherry Dolezilek of McLaughlin. Great-Great Grandmother Clara Sauer of Elgin, ND. Uncles, Derek and Sheldon Sauerand son Keegen of Mobridge and Andrew Silbernagel of Mobridge, Aunties, Ashlyn and Chelsea Iron Thunder, Layla Stoller and Layna LeBeaux all of Mobridge. Also numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Abel is preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Shirley Sauer, Great Grandmother Debra Silbernagel and Great Uncle Jesse Silbernagel.
