Funeral services for Aaron Paul Grind Stone, 70, of Little Eagle, SD will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Elkhorn UCC Church in Little Eagle. Burial under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home, Mobridge will take place at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Cemetery in Little Eagle. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Aaron was born on November 15, 1951 in Rapid City, South Dakota to John Henry Grind Stone and Nellie Uses Arrow Grind Stone. He was a 3 ^rd generation grandson to Chief Grind Stone. He lived in various places throughout his schooling. He was a helpful, generous, kind man. When people asked him for help making bread, papa soup, wajopi he was always there to help. He happily settled in his hometown of Little Eagle until his death. Aaron was well respected by all that knew him.

Aaron is survived by his auntie, Mazi Sheldon; cousins, Phyllis White, Wilbur Flying Bye Sr, Russell Flying Bye, Alex Looking Elk, Mendota Flying Bye, Sugar Grind Stone; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters; 5 brothers and numerous other family members.
